Just a reminder of what we did to our yard.

Here is a before and after picture for you. We have been meaning to post it for awhile, but haven't taken the time. Wow, even I am impressed. Maybe our perfectionism pays off sometimes. Our grass looks fake it is so green, but I assure you it is real, and it likes the fact that it is not competing with rocks. We go out in our backyard almost every night and can't imagine it being any better. We are thankful.

Dirt In My Teeth

We are working on our yard. Nothing is simple when it comes to us. We started sifting the dirt in our back yard because we are re-doing it, and there are lots of rocks and tilled up grass. If you look really hard you can see the nice soil between the play structure and the tree. See it? See the hand made sifter sitting by the tree? Impressed aren't you? Actually, I made it, and it feel apart after about three wheelbarrows of dirt so Steve remade it for me. Nice guy. He still loves me tonight even though I started this sifting thing. He thinks I am a perfectionist. Um, right!

Man, What a Man!

Look what we did. Mostly Steve, but I did the tile and went to Lowes alot. I can't believe I don't have a before picture for you. I also put one in of the front of the house because I can't believe how good it looks. I found a before picture of four years ago when we bought the house, and it doesn't look like the same house. What an amazing man. Everything he has tried to do on the house he has succeeded in. New floor, new counter tops, new trim around the counter tops, new handles on the cabinet doors, new paint on the cabinets, and of course the siding he and my dad did two years ago when Evan was less than a week old. This of course doesn't cover all his hard work, but wanted you to see the latest.
