Content or Guilty?

I have to say that I am enjoying my new found freedom. I am wondering if I should feel sad or guilty. I don't. I feel content and quite happy about sending my kids off to the public school system. Yikes! It sounds horrible, but honestly they are happy, and so am I. My little people are playing with blocks contently on the floor next to me. I am getting fun things done like stenciling a cool Bible verse on Amanda's wall to surprise her when she gets home. It is just nice to have them happy about their education rather than drugging through it everyday with bad attitudes. I am enjoying my children more. So, for today I choose to leave the guilt behind and enjoy my day. I will save the guilt for the day when they try to teach my children s_x education and evolution. Maybe I won't feel guilty that day either. Maybe I will just continue to teach them the truth and how to deal with the false....

From everything you've said, it sounds like it's absolutely the right decision for your kids to go to public school. Everyone's happier and you can't go wrong with that.

We NEED Christian children in the school system, it's so important. They'll be able to tell their friends why they don't believe in evolution and how after they've had the s_x education class, they can explain to their friends how waiting for marriage is the best choice by far.

Glad to hear that everyone's happy today.

Love,

I do want to make it clear that when I was five they had a jackhammer in the street and I have always been funny, so I called it an electric pogo stick.

Oops, Hunkinhubby. You got your retort in the wrong blog. Or were you just being funny... again?

I told him, Arlene, that he posted on the wrong entry and asked him if he was just trying to be funny. He just stared at me. I laughed....He looked like he will never post again. That will get us for pointing out his mistakes! Poor Guy!

Even my mistakes are funny vs you mistaking what you do as funny.
