Hunting Christmas Trees

This was our annual Christmas Tree Hunt. We search the fields for a perfect tree, the kids have to lug it back with no help from us, and then they are rewarded with peppermint sticks and hot chocolate. It was a crisp, cool, dry day. A good day for tradition.

Not that I'm prejudiced, but they are so adorable.

Ian told me that Santa wouldn't find him on Christmas because he wasn't going to be home. I assured him that he would be found.

Sounds like a great tradition. What a beautiful day for finding the perfect Christmas tree.
